Just Watching Them

Here are photos that some kind of a neat shot. Even without flash of my digital camera, these snapshots looks so cool for me. Not just cool but also a scenic view. I really don't know what kind of fish they are since I captured them while I was at the underwater tunnel.

A Coral Reef That I Captured

Here is one of the coral reef I captured. I selected this because I can still recognize different objects even in monochrome colors. This is part of my Manila Ocean Park collection which captured last April 13, 2009.

Longhorn Cowfish

The two photos above are my snapshots directly coming from my camera.

This photo was captured from a video that I had recorded.

As a contribution to Yellow Mellow Monday, I select the photo I had for Longhorn Cowfish. This is one of the unique creatures I found from Manila Ocean Park. Photo captured last April 13, 2009.

Some excerpts I got:

In Filipino language, "Longhorn Cowfish" is called as "Baka Baka", they have a lifespan of 8 years, with a diet for benthic algae, sponges, polychate worms, mollusks, small crustaceans and small fish. Longhorn Cowfish is type of boxfish recognizable by its long horns that protrude from the front ot its head, rather like those of a cow or bull. It is able to find and feed on benthic invertrbrates by blowing jets of water into the sandy substrate. If stressed, this species can exude a deadly toxin, ostracitoxin, which resembles red tide and sea cocumber toxins in general properties.

Note:
Photos that I captured are some of the tried shots because the place is so dark inside, and flash camera are prohibited to avoid putting stress to the underwater world species.
