Scenery Around Zip Lines

Photos captured while at Outland Adventure in Ma-a Davao City last March 1, 2009.

This is the place where I experienced my first fly in zip lines. I felt nervous but I also excited. For what I knew, this is the longest zip lines in Asia. The scenery of the river was so fascinating. That was the main reason I felt good even I was in the middle and that bottom is river (see the first photo?).

Well I experience lots of first time adventures in Davao, I hope I can comeback again.

What I like about these photos? Well one thing is the nature. The trees, the plants, the hill side, and the river itself. Flying in zip lines where you can see fantastic natural beauty. I hope that this place will be really protected and cared not only by the private owner of the Outland Adventure but also the people live here because if those trees gone and the lovely river become contaminated. I think the enjoyment that I have while flying the zip line will not be experience anymore.

Kool Kat's Pool and Crashed Plane Display - Mellow Yellow Monday

Photos were captured at Jack's Ridge at Shrine Hill, Matina Davao City last March 2, 2009 (still part of my tour around Davao).

I just like the pool's view from the top. And another amazing thing nearby this pool. At the side, there is a crashed plane display. From what I learned during the tour, this is a real plane used by Japanese during Japanese Invasion time. What the locals did, they never removed the plane in that place and they made it permanent as historical display and for the tourist's eyes pleasure.
