Unique Creatures At Manila Ocean Park

Porcupine Fish: Occurs on open muddy substrates as well as on coral reefs. It has length of 50 cm with a life span of 12 to 15 years. Their diet are mollusks, urchins, hermit crabs, and crabs. They are also commonly called as blowfish.

Humpbracked Cardinalfish: Can be found in Asia and Oceania. Inhabits mangrove estuaries, tidal creeks and lower reaches of freshwater streams. Their length up to 17 cm.

Pajama Cardinal Fish:Can be found in Western Pacific including Philippines. Form aggregations among branches of corals in sheltered bays and lagoons. Their length is up to 8.5 cm with the diet for tiny fish and invertebrates.
