Trunk And Branch


Another tree we passed by while trekking Mount Anawangin. We actually stop near in this tree to have some few minutes of rest. For me this photo is naturally a sepia image.

Nice tree. Those branches look like bent arms starting to reach for the sky. I always take shots of interesting trees but never post them.

Very nice. The branches create some interesting shapes against the sky.

And you are correct - 34 exposures meant that I took 34 shots with the same framing over that 20 minute period. In each shot, the stars had moved a little bit, so layering all 34 pictures created the trail. It's also possible to achieve the same effect using just one shot, but that's much harder as the camera must stay still the entire time and the batteries drain quickly.

Love the twist and curl of the branches. Almost like a sepia layering in silhouette against the sky! Delightful!

This tree looks as if it is relaxing, just laying its trunk back and reviewing nature from a different point of view...
